On 12/7/16 the House of Lords Licensing Act 2003 Committee received oral evidence from a group of prominent councillors and local authority figures.
When discussing the impacts of the Licensing Act 2003 on crime and disorder David Banks, Executive Manager Neighbourhoods Rushcliffe Borough Council, identified, ‘the development of robust Pubwatches as having done incredibly well in terms of developing those relationships [between licensees, police and local authorities] and encouraging good business practice within the licensed trade.’
